Our Location in the Heart of Newport The Newport Blues Inn is located on Newport's Historic Hill at 96 Pelham Street, perfectly situated within walking distance to all that Newport offers. Pelham Street was the first street to be lighted by gas in the United States, as well as home of the United States Naval Academy between 1861 and 1865.
Bellevue Avenue, with its mansions, shops, Tennis Hall of Fame, and museums, is only one block above, and the Thames Street waterfront area, with all its well known restaurants, galleries, nightlife, and historic sites, is just a short stroll down. The close proximity to the beaches, Cliff Walk, and wharf area makes the Newport Blues Inn an ideal accommodation choice for your next Newport vacation.
Directions to Newport Blues Inn From TF Green Airport Take RT95 South to RT4 South South Kingston to Route 138 East to Newport Exit. Follow to Jamestown and Newport Bridges.
Take the scenic exit off the Newport Bridge, turn right at bottom. Go through to the second set of lights and bear left onto Thames Street. Go through the stop sign and bear right (still on Thames Street). Go straight on Thames Street through another light and continue until you see a park on your left (Mill Street). Turn left onto Mill Street.
Go up two blocks crossing Spring Street. Turn right at the very next street (Touro Park West) and go one block to Pelham Street. Turn right and the Newport Blues Inn is two houses below the park on the right. (Approx. 10 minutes after bridge exit)
Once you find a parking place in front of the Inn on Pelham Street to unload your bags, we will greet you and give you directions and a parking pass to our parking lot.

From Providence, RI / All Points NorthWest Follow RT195 East to RT114 South via the Mount Hope Bridge into Newport. Or, follow RT195 East to RT24 South via Sakonnet River Bridge to RT114 South to Newport.
Stay on RT114 South all the way into Middletown. Take a left onto Valley Road (RT214 South). Stay on Valley Road through three lights, then bear right toward Newport's Easton Beach (Memorial Blvd.).
Stay on Memorial Blvd to Bellevue Avenue... Take a right onto Bellevue Avenue and take a left onto the third street on your left, which is Pelham Street. There is a park at the head of Pelham Street. The Newport Blues Inn is two houses below the park on the right.

From Boston / All Points North Follow RT128 South to RT24 South to RT114 South. Follow signs to Newport.
Stay on RT114 South all the way into Middletown. Take a left onto Valley Road (RT214 South). Stay on Valley Road through three lights, then bear right toward Newport's Easton Beach (Memorial Blvd.).
